Meggie Setiawan
Upon joining the studio as a recent graduate in 2022, Meggie has since become an integral part of the team. Originating from the picturesque city of Banjarmasin in Indonesia, known as the City of a Thousand Rivers. Meggie’s diverse background brings a unique perspective to the studio. Meggie started her architectural journey in Sydney, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Environments at the University of Sydney. Her design aesthetic is deeply influenced by modern architecture, drawing inspiration from minimalist Japanese designs and the iconic works of Mies Van der Rohe. Influenced by a lifelong passion for crafting beautiful things, Meggie has adapted this passion into a dedicated commitment to residential architecture. Her approach revolves around creating spaces that are not only visually appealing but also deeply resonate with the clients, turning each project into a rewarding journey. A distinctive element of Meggie’s expertise lies in her proficiency with 3D modelling. This skill allows her to translate visions into tangible, liveable spaces, providing both the designer and clients with a preview of the realised concept. Meggie sees each project as an opportunity to bring design concepts to life and create spaces that are not just aesthetically pleasing but also profoundly personal and meaningful to those who inhabit them.
